DIGITAL POSTURE SCREENING

Posture Types v2.jpg

What's Your
Posture Pattern Type?

Did you know that there are many types of posture patterns?

Our job is to search for the problems that are at the root of poor posture, analysing spinal curvatures, movement and alignment.

It all starts with a proper Posture Analysis.

Posture Trend Analysis to track improvements.

PURPOSE

The purpose of PostureScreen™ is to objectively demonstrate the measurable changes in your standing neutral posture and screen for movement and postural dysfunction. It can assist in tailoring a specific exercise program.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

- changes in the stance (eg. the outward turning of one or both feet)

- alignment of the knees

- levelling of the hips or pelvis

- height differences across the shoulders

- tilting of the head and neck

- forward tilting of the pelvis

- forward head translation

- increase in the spinal curvatures

- changes to gait (walking)

SPINAL POSITION

Since posture can be considered the window to the spine, specific abnormal posture displacements are associated with specific spinal positions. If your posture is left uncorrected, then your spine, discs, ligaments, muscles and spinal nerves will be under constant asymmetrical stress, which can lead to more complex issues..

BAD POSTURE ISN'T ALWAYS YOUR FAULT.

NOT DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT IS...
